A secret lair in a volcano wasn't within budget.
Ok, well, I was meant to post this earlier in the day but I got a bit lazy. Well, whatever, a little late is better than really late :p
Anyway, as previously stated, I started my diet on Saturday and yesterday (Friday) marked the 7th day – a whole week on the program – and I can say I’m doing well. While I did say I was getting hungry a lot at the beginning, over the week I’ve been getting less hungry and when I do get hungry, I can usually ignore it easily. I would think, “Ah, I’m a little hungry… well, I’ll just get back to what I was doing;” seems like I can distract myself enough and not be bothered by the feeling 😉 and I only particularly notice when I don’t really have anything on my mind.
However, when I am particularly hungry where I can’t ignore it, I jump of course to the free foods I’m allowed to have. The current free food of choice is strawberries. Everyone loves strawberries, right? One of the best things to eat really 🙂 There’s still celery in the fridge, though, but strawberries are better for so many reasons, haha.
I haven’t actually mentioned how much weight I’ve apparently lost. Well, since weighing myself Friday night and again on Saturday morning, and, unless the electronic scales somehow knows and is feeling sympathetic, I’ve lost around 4kg’s. That’s alright, isn’t it? Well, it’s certainly motivating, but, I’m not simple enough to get excited over the first week result. Why, some may ask? Well, the first weigh-in was before I started the actual diet – and a lot has changed that week; eating less, and healthier and being active (1hr on the treadmill everyday is now part of my routine). What will say anything soon, naturally, is how much weight I can lose this week. I’ll be a bit more excited over potential results then 😉
Consequently, I might post about the 2nd week. If not, I’ll post a First Month Postmortem since a bigger change is bound to be observed then!
P.S This was posted while being only slightly hungry 😉
